Since USB ports blockage seems to happen when entering Linux environment, a possible workaround to try in systems with intagrated bluetooth would be entering BIOS setup and disabling bluotooth, or pressing bluetooth disabling key where available. In systems with external USB bluetooth key, action to try would be to disconnect external bluetooth device and rebooting, as it worked in my case.

USB keyboard and mouse stopped working on the next reboot after upgrade. I disconnected an USB bluetooth key from a back USB port, rebooted, and everything restored to normality. My personal conclusion: there is a bug in the bluetooth firmware update that may cause a general USB crash when an USB bluetooth key is connected.
