Hi All, Clicking the 0911:5288 clickpad not sending button events is a known and fixed issue, this is fixed by the following 3 commits:

In the mean time these should probably be added to the Ubuntu kernels. Both in Ubuntu and Windows 10. The only way to restore functionality is to boot from usb key ubuntu 17.10 respined, or disassemble laptop and detach-reattach battery cable.
