If VRR turns the screen off, then that's a kernel driver bug (or a display
issue that should be worked around in the kernel). Please report it to
https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/drm/amd/-/issues for AMD,
https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/drm/i915/kernel/-/issues for Intel and
https://forums.developer.nvidia.com/c/gpu-graphics/linux for NVidia.
Does anyone here have the problem even with adaptive sync turned off?
