Matija Šuklje <mat...@suklje.name> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |mat...@suklje.name --- Comment #48 from Matija Šuklje <mat...@suklje.name> --- I can confirm this issue persist in: Operating System: EndeavourOS KDE Plasma Version: 6.1.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.6.0 Qt Version: 6.7.2 Kernel Version: 6.10.10-zen1-1-zen (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland Processors: 16 × AMD Ryzen 7 5700U with Radeon Graphics Memory: 30.7 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: AMD Radeon Graphics Manufacturer: SLIMBOOK Product Name: PROX-AMD5 If it is relevant: - my laptop’s screen is 1920×1080 @ 60 Hz (see above) - my external screen is 1920×1080 @ 144 Hz (AOC 24G2W1G4) I can replicate it both when clicking full-screen (or pressing `f`) in YouTube and Invidious on Firefox, in full-screening Haruna and starting the presentation mode in LibreOffice Impress. As a...@stronzi.org said, it seems to be connected to VRR (Variable Refresh Rate). By default in Plasma’s SystemSettings VRR is set to “automatic”, which as described in this bug report, seems to trigger the black screen when something goes full-screen. I can also confirm that setting VRR to “never”, works around this bug. Then I also tried to set VRR to “always”, which right away blacked out my external screen. Which is why I’m quite confident VRR has something to do with this bug. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
