I get the feeling the KDE > team must be seriously understaffed and in need of help. Yes, that's exactly the situation. It's why GNOME has cut out 90% of the features they once had; they decided to pare their codebase down to only what their small team could maintain. KDE does things differently; we have a bigger scope and broader aspirations, but we chronically lack the resources to maintain them. We are *constantly* in need of more technical contributors who want to do boring bugfixing work rather than flashy exciting new features. In the absence of such people materializing, the result is under-maintained software that is always bugger than it should be. It's either that, or have fewer features, like GNOME. Pick your poison. Or contribute with bugfixes if you want to help us get out of this situation. Buy just complaining, "boo, this isn't fixed yet" every time after every release isn't going to change anything. We need people capable of fixing it to step up and do so. If any such people are following along, I urge them to give it a try. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
