I have subscribed by email here since I am sometimes a bit annoyed by this bug (or current behavior) and I'm interested to see if/when some progress has been made. I bet many others have done the same for similar reasons, and are not happy to get many spam notifications about some opinionated meta-discussion about how FOSS development and bug trackers should work according to some people . Also, if you do comment, please try to keep your tone at least constructive. Remember, you have probably paid nothing for this software, and the developers are not your slaves. It is up to their decision what bugs they prioritize, and where they put their limited resources. Even if you had paid something for the development, bug trackers are not meant for this kind of meta-discussion, but you should use according channels (which were assigned while you made your contribution, if there are any) to give your opinions to guide the development.
