SUMMARY
Krita vector layer text box cannot hold a 'medium sized (arial)' paragraph of
text without dropping pieces
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. text tool -> draw text box
2. select default text and delete
3. switch to Arial font, any size
4. paste in something like:
P01-P06 LOWER LEVEL PLUMBING PLANS INCLUDED FOR
REFERENCE, SUBMITTED WITH PHASE 2
M01-M03 LOWER LEVEL HVAC PLANS INCLUDED FOR
REFERENCE, SUBMITTED WITH PHASE 2
FP1-FP3 LOWER LEVEL FIRE SPRINKLER PLANS INCLUDED
FOR REFERENCE, SUBMITTED WITH PHASE 2
OBSERVED RESULT
Notice that there's almost nothing you can do to get krita to display the
entire contents of the pasted text.

to see the entire text pasted
