Whatever it is the source of the issue, it seems a pretty straightforward bug to identify and reproduce, I can't understand how no one from the DEV team, didn't go crazy dealing with this issue, it completely kills productivity. Also, it's quite frustrating when removing the cable from the monitor to go to a meeting and the start bar disappears and I have to do yet another plasmashell restart. I have more issues when using it with the mini Display Port (mDP), HDMI seems work a little bit better, although cycling through the different display options (single, extended, duplicate, etc...) usually crashes plasma and/or Kwin sometimes, either for both mDP and KWin. I don't know if it would be easy to fix this but it's really getting on my nerves, it's there since forever and it's one of those bugs I believe it should be right below the critical ones on the path to solve, since it completely messes with the User's experience. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
