Sorry, that this was not clear in my summary, only in the list of steps to reproduce the problem. It's the only place where I change color profiles in old images if necessary, and I didn't know, that the function is also available via the colors-menu. When using the colors-menu function it activates the "save"-button and triggers the "want-to-save?"-dialog as it should.
