Bug ID: 501456 Summary: "save" not asked after color profile change in Editor Classification: Applications Product: digikam Version: unspecified Platform: openSUSE OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: ColorManagement-Profiles Assignee: digikam-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: li...@daniel-bauer.com Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY when, in editor view, I change the color profile of an image and close the window or go to another one ("next"), digikam does NOT ask if I want to save the changes. Also the "save"-button is greyed out as if the was no change applied. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. have color management enabled in digikam 2. open an image without or with another profile than working space profile, in digikam editor 3. in the appearing dialog select to change the profile to another one (the dialog differs if there is no profile or an unmatching one in the image file; select the answer that will assign a new one to the image that actually changes the colors displayed on screen) 4. close the editor window (or click "next" to go to the next image in the album) OBSERVED RESULT - the "save" dialog in the menu-line is greyed out (would have to use "save as") - there is no dialog "image was changed, do you want to save it?" - the changed image is closed without saving, the changes are lost EXPECTED RESULT - the "save"-button should be activated when the color profile is changed - when closing the window or jumping to another image (previous/next...) the usual dialog asking if changes should be saved or ignored should appear, and according action taken SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Digikam 7.9 from OpenSuse Repos Linux/KDE Plasma: OpenSuse 15.5 KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.9 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.103.0 Qt Version: 5.15.8 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
