I would have thought that after the crash only new settings are not saved and the old settings remain. My Synology is a DS918+ Intel Celeron J3455, 1.5 GHz, 4 cores 8GB RAM 4 hard drives with SHR btrfs 2 SSDs as SSD cache I move the thumbnails from the local SSD to the Synology.
