according to my internet research there seems to be an issue running 'wmic' on 
domain governed windows machines. additionally i had a bug that made the memory 
routine not survive a 'wmic' problem. i just upload a fix to trunk.
could you please try if it works again? on 'wmic' failure you should get a safe 
1GB Xmx value now.
