Hi Ede,
I tried OpenJUMP 1.6.2 at work today and could not start it.
I put some pause here and there in the batch file and finally
get this message (I let you use your favorite translator).
[I put the message in a text file because my mail server detected it
as spam]
I think this is related to the use of system ressources to detect
available memory and to our security policy (I worked in a user
session without admin rights).
