for screens like these it really helps (me) to switch OJ to english, if only 
temporarily ;) it'll also provide you with the correct english menu item names 
to post them.

questions:
1) do you have any clipboard software running? any special settings regarding 
clipboard on your systems?
2) when you copy the polygon shape, which window has the focus then? 
3) copying in the layerview should always create and write one or more wkt 
strings of the copied geometries into clipboard. you can verify at any moment 
by pating cliupboard into a texteditor, or wherever. does it do that properly 
when copying different shapes from layerview repeatedly?
