Hi, I can reproduce but only with one computer (Windows Vista 32-bit, jre 1.6.0_27). See http://latuviitta.org/documents/OJ_copy_paste_shortcuts.pdf
It looks like with my Vista OJ is keeping old content on the clipboard and doing Ctrl-C in the map window does not transfer anything into the clipboard. Ctrl-C + Ctrl-V from map window does not work well with my Windows 7 either. Something seem to go into the clipboard but only seldomly Ctrl-V returs anything back and inserts new features. Copying clipboard into text editor I can see that clipboard even collects WKT from many Ctrl-C so that I may have something like LINESTRING (86 227, 163 275, 237 221, 158 172) POLYGON ((74 197, 150 240, 169 215, 107 162, 74 197)) on the clipboard even I had only one feature at a time selected. But this is somehow messy and hard to test in reproducible way. -Jukka- > -----Alkuperäinen viesti----- > Lähettäjä: edgar.sol...@web.de [mailto:edgar.sol...@web.de] > Lähetetty: 4. maaliskuuta 2013 12:07 > Vastaanottaja: OpenJump develop and use > Aihe: Re: [JPP-Devel] copy/paste and others > > sorry still working for me.. not sure what you mean by "Add features as > WKT", the only english menu entry equivalent i found is "Add New > Features..." with a green round plus white on green plus icon. > > anybody else experience something similar? > > ..ede > > On 03.03.2013 23:44, Rahkonen Jukka wrote: > > Hi, > > > > I can reproduce but there was an error in this > >> - select the WKT, press Ctrl-C, close feature info window > >> - do Ctrl-V, linestring is pasted > > > > I meant "Open Add features as WKT, do Ctrl-V and linestring is pasted into > WKT window.
