no sorry. i am a bit short on time lately. so i am not able to do anything 
bigger. i couldn't lay a hand on the file dialog so far.

Peppe: Could you check 1.4.2 on linux again and come back if you find show 
stoppers? Maybe we should pimp 1.4.2 a little and distribute a 1.4.3 interim 
version with the most important bugfixes from trunk?
