Hi all,
after East I will write down some proposal.
I am working around two ideas:

Modify some terminology on lòang files to make the menus more comprensible for
2 kinds of people:
a) students for middle/class school
b) users who are not familiar with topological/GIS terminology
Two samples:
1) I think to substitute "feature", "item" and "element" with only one word
when these terms are connected to the description of the tool. For instance I
think I will use a generic "item" or Martin's usage of "element"
2) The menus are sometimes too long: there is a large usage of "selected" (Copy
selected feature, past selected items on modified layers, etc) even when it is
not bnecessary (Edit selected feature is not working/not enlightened on the
menu if the features are not ...edited)
Using this two criteria a menu like "Copy selected feature" will become "Copy
item" or "Copy element"

I will make a list of menus which could be useful for the former two classes of
people (middle class students, Upper class students and land survayor).
I image we can select at least 3 tipology of usages (Lower students, Upper
students and Land survayors) with different degree of knowledge plus standard
OJ.

Landon, I think we can start to do separate lists of this tipologies of usage.
You can work on land survayors and I on Lower class students. And than we can
discuss on it

Peppe
