thank you for your clarification.. which brings good news!!!
So.. we will have a look on it - at some point ;)

Similar to Martin D: last time I looked on Geotools, 8 months ago?, the 
examples were not working for me and the lib had some dependecies that 
blow up everything. But this is a long time ago.. so maybe now its 
better. However, their interface changes in the last years left some 
uncomfortable feeling.
