Hi geoff,
I want to contribute with a couple of observations:

In the Change style>decoration dialog there are some
decoration which look like complex lines
(Segment-Mid-Arrow-Open, Segment-Mid-Arrow-Open, for
instance, etc): lines with a simbol which follow the
segments.
It could be a way to explore (to have complex lines)

I think Andreas Schmitz added to OJ some deeJump
features in change style dialog which allow to
customize the type of vertex symbol (square, circle,
etc. I wander if this could be added also to the
Change Style>colour theming>custom dialog. So people
can define their symbology according to
attribute/range value

Rotating fill according to attribute/angle value will
give to OJ vast capability of rendering. As sample
(Cicero pro domo sua...) in geological maps the fill
of landslide is the same but rotated according to the
avarage of the landslide average movement direction.

Thanks

Peppe
