Dear Danilo,
I am very pleased to hear that someone is interested in doing the
translation of Jump in italian!
Having in charge the internationalization process in the past, I have
worked with one people who began the translation, but for some reason he
did not publish it.

October 15th, 2004:

   Hello! :-)
Absolutely yes. A week ago we developed an internal release
(so the italian translation seems complete...) and we deploy
   an internal release.

OK, I'll call the architects to have some news (they are using
the program to tell me any problem, amazingly they are
   enthusiastic!!!).
So also if I didn't translate all of the keys (some seems never
used) I will send you the file.

Could I send it next Monday (17h October: I'd like to have
   as much testing as possibile)?

Also could you give me a last date to submit new releases?
The problem is the translation of some technical GIS
and geometric operations term. Somebody asks to maintain
the english term. Somebody suggests a different translation...
Somebody refuses to use an italianized version... So I'm
working on the diplomatic :-) side... :-)

   Best regards,
   Andrea

And from there... nothing more, I never (as I remember) received a
translation file, despite my attempts.

In any case, if you need some help in the translation process, don't hesitate
to contact me.
Best regards,
Steve
