teh easiest way is if I send you the current english tanslation file..
it works in a way that on the left the english is written and on the
right side as well
for example
jump.ui.ShowWelcomePlugIn.Hello-User=Hello User
and you would translate to
jump.ui.ShowWelcomePlugIn.Hello-User=Hei Käyttäjä
=>btw. i just took käyttäjä from http://efe.scape.net/index.php :o)
apart from that you need to rename the english file:
jump_en.properties
to
jump_fi.properties
or
jump_se.properties or here eventually se_SE
(for swedish_swedish if there exists officiall different swedish like we
have german german and swiss german)
the only disadvantage if you purely translate the words in the file is,
that you can not see the changes you have done, right in the program.
And this is sometimes necessary if sentences are splittet into parts or
if words have several meanings.
Therefore it would be good if you are able to check out the version from
the cvs and start OJ from an IDE like Eclipse.
On the other hand.. if the nightly built works.. and you send me the
translated files you can see your changes on the next day.. which is ok
as well i think.
since attachments have to be accepted by the list manager i send you the
english file personally if you are interessted and not over the list!
