Yes, I agree as well. The problem is that probably still people will draw the wrong conclusions from such tests. I have the feeling that library makers just use these tests to get draw attention. Thus its even more important to stress the philosophy behind jQuery.
I'd really like to see a real life speed test... Certain selectors I have never ever used.
