@junrao @chia7712 This PR affects two existing tests, testDropCommitOnBatchExpiry and testDuplicateSequenceAfterProducerReset in TransactionManagerTest. Both of them rely on in-flight batches, and I’m not sure how to construct an expired batch under the new behavior.
