   Have we reached a conclusion? It seems like we all agree that it's unlikely
for users to upgrade from 0.11 to 4.x. Does this mean that Streams will follow
the same pattern? If so, should we remove the end-to-end upgrade test
(upgrading from 0.11, 1.0, 1.1, and 2.0 to the latest version) in Streams again?

upgrades we support

   @mjsax, +1 on this,
   We should add a document recommending the best way to upgrade from a very
old version to the latest one. As you suggested above, users should first
upgrade to 3.9 and then to 4.x. In other words, 3.9 will serve as the bridge
version.
