Should we ensure that all clients (Consumer, Streams, Connect) follow a consistent upgrade path? It might be difficult for users to determine the correct sequence. For example, users with applications utilizing both Streams and Consumers may be unsure whether they should first upgrade both jars to version 3.9 and then proceed to 4.x+, or follow the Streams compatibility matrix to upgrade directly to 4.x+ -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
