Thiyagarajan, Even in my village, there are sizable chunk of muslims, and there is a vinayagar temple adjacent to the mosque.
There are few muslims who mingle with us closely, and there are few muslim families who invite us for their functions. Few of the muslim youths participate in car festival.. daily they used to play volleyball with the hindu youths, and there is no problem there. But at the same time, 50 kms away, there is another area called Thammampatti, near thuraiyur. There the muslims are majority, and they had encroached the kasi viswanathar temple and built a mosque. Now they are not allowing vinayagar procession. The local tahsildar, who happened to be a muslim, told, "Nepal is your country.. go and celebrate vinayagar chathurthi there".. what do you say for this? Regards, Senthil
