Using semantic's parser

Hello All.

Would it be possible using semantic to achieve functionality similar to how
ctags work?  Specifically, method call tracing.  Ctags have to be constantly
rebuilt, and eat up alot of disk space.  I was thinking along the lines of a
customizable list for a project, which you could specify a list of resources
by URI.

Thoughts?
