i don't really know anything about buildkit, but the custom network was so the
test wouldn't fail if we were trying to use the 'host' network and the user
already had something running on that port.
if you've got a revised patch yeah, totally upload it ... but it also looks
like maybe we could just set {{DOCKER_BUILDKIT=0}} in the gradle task right?
