As in all things, women get screwed in clothing sizing. Basically, every
manufacturer is different and every individual garment is different.
Sometimes to the point that you can take a size 10 and hold it up to a
size 4 or a size 16 and they'll be the same size.
Anyway... it might be a good idea to add links to various manufacturers
that have good clothes for working in to the FAQ and explain how to
measure yourself to order their clothes. Add in comments about how
likely they are to change styles on the buyer or do nasty things to
their sizing would also be good.
Of course, what works for tiny skinny me who is always cold (lots of
wool in the winter, and many layers) would not work for other people who
are larger or better insulated.
Emily, who is contemplating finding a dressmaker and getting a few
pairs of machine washable wool pants made...
