1) Walk to the shops.
2) Use a strong lock on your bike. You even get free insurance with locks
so if your bike gets nicked, the lock company buys you a new one.
I even managed to get them to send someone out to open my lock
when the lock mechanism froze.
3) Instead of being in a hurry to get everywhere, adjust your life
so that you have the opportunity to be more laid back. Don't panic
if you don't get home in time for your favourite programme on TV.
Spend your time travelling reading.
