Is there any interest in taking these words back with positive meanings?
I mean, we do belong to a group called linuxchix (chick used to have
rather a nasty connotation) and then there is the whole girl/grrl thing.
I think 'webmistress' has a nice ring to it, personally, and the only
reason any word has a particular connotation aside from its actual meaning
is the way in which it is generally used. If it begins to be used without
regard to the connotation, then its connotation can change.
