maybe the words you're using point to something... maybe part of the
problem is that men are more likely to "present" an idea--- "this is how
we should do it"--- whereas women tend to "suggest"--- "why don't we do
this?" or "i think this is best". 

but i've certainly noticed that my male coworker/supervisor has to repeat
my ideas to a group full of men before they're taken seriously....
