Hi, JB,

Nope. The thing is, I have. I was hired by an IT Director to work for the
Network Services Manager in one place. The man who ended up being my direct
superior did not take any of the women in his department seriously. I
couldn't know it going in, though.

I was good enough to earn the guy's respect, but it took time, and when a
really good offer elsewhere came up, I moved on. Thankfully, over the last
several years, I've worked for really good people who look at one thing
only: the quality of the work performed. I'd really like to believe that
is a general trend, and as more women get opportunities in IT there will be
less and less sexism.

Regards,
Caity
