hmm..how do I say this? (I'm saying that alot...this is sticky, but I

I'm not sure (actually, I'm pretty sure it's not) the amount of
clothing is important at all...the general problem is more 'the view of
women in general' (btw, it does us no good if the view of women in the
linux community gets split into 'linuxchix who are intelligent humans' and
'the rest of the worlds females, who aren't' ) and the specific problem is
that it's considered okay to show women as sex objects in a forum where it
is not necessary.

That's a kind of rough description, but it's still not really what I
want...

In part I was hoping when Ingrid brought this up, that we could use the
chance to better-define what's up with the boys' club, and once we had a
better description, discuss ways of changing (since I expect that we are
all coping in our individual ways...). Any takers on that, still?

Incidently, with my usual luck, I manged to hit two right off the bat,
