the website in question has been known to fabricate stories to gain hits

this seems to be the case as I have done some research .. and the author
seems not to exists in the publishing arena.

nor can I find any reference to that book anywhere.

Since the book covers geeks and nerds its to be expected feature on some E
sites like amazon.com etc etc 

needless to say .. this is probably more fabric then clothing.

Some of the statements made by the "author" who is claimed be a psychiatrist

would horrify others in the field as it's not the type of response a
psychiatrist would give to a situation
