Get your hands away from the keyboard and re-read the part about "not using multiple namespaces per file" :) If not convincing - stop using namespaces until it is :)

Some coding style guides force curly braces for if-else for a reason.

If you know what "coding style" means you are not using multiple namespaces per file anyway. If you don't - well, then all bets are off :)
