I don't think it reflects on the quality of PHP 5. It does reflect on the fact that migrating is a bit scary.

Did anybody try to run www.php.net (a replica, that is) on PHP 5?

Running fine here - so far. Need to play with the SQLite bit because I don't have any other reason for installing it ;)
http://php.lsces.co.uk is anybody wants to break it.
( Should be live if the address has propagated properly :) )


I understand a couple of the 'real' mirrors are running PHP5. Can't see anything that would be a problem just switching now. Until someone proves me wrong :)
