Dear all,

it may not be of interest internationally, but the same has been done in the German DIN 33904 for the transliteration of Devanagari (published in 2018):

अं = aṃ

*माँसा = *māṁsā

Source: DIN 33904: Information und Dokumentation - Transliteration Devanagari = Information and documentation - romanization Devanagari (Berlin, 2018), p. 11

All the best

I cannot say that this is a “standard” but it has become common practice in Tibetan scholarship to use ‘m’ with underdot for the anusvara, and ‘m’ with overdot for candrabindu.
