as valid as your concerns may be, you're barking up the wrong tree(s)
(<foo>[email protected]) here - as has been said before, these are
mostly technical lists read mainly by technical people who have as good as
*no influence* on all of this (as far as I can tell).
At Oracle, sales talk loudly, so please ring/write/harrass/do what you
think is appropriate to your oracle sales rep with all your concerns,
ideally with hard facts about endangered sales etc.

A while ago I got a call from a reseller asking if I was interested in
"Sun-ish" storage solutions and I said it was unlikely we would look at
them until we knew what Oracles long term plans were!
