I have a new Ultra 27 on which I installed 2009.06 from LiveCD (actually LiveUSB) and then changed publisher to /dev and did an image-update (to the currently offered build 131).

When I boot into the new BE (and tweak grub to disable the splash screens) I can see the initial OpenSolaris copyright lines and the system immediately resets and reboots.

When I boot under kmdb I get the following:

/kernel/misc/amd64/pci_autoconfig: undefined symbol 'class_pci_items'
/kernel/misc/amd64/pci_autoconfig: undefined symbol 'class_pci'
/kernel/misc/amd64/pci_autoconfig: undefined symbol 'pcie_get_rc_dip'
WARNING: mod_load: cannot load module 'pci_autoconfig'
panic[cpu0]/thread:fffffffffbc2e7a0: failed to load misc/pci_autoconfig

The stack is roughly this:

unix:impl_bus_initialprobe+7f
unix:impl_setup_ddi:130
genunix:create_devinfo_tree+b7
genunix:setup_ddi+13
unix: startup_modules
unix: startup
genunix: main+2c

Any clues what might cause this or what I can do to rectify it?

Thanks,
  Bob
