FWIW, I've come across this as well with VirtualBox - but don't think
it's specific to build 99 necessarily. I've opened up a bug with the
current findings -

My upgrade from 98 to 99 went well on a Toshiba Tecra M2 and on
Virtualbox 2.0.2.
What's with the new warning about pcplusmp mod remove message? :)
