This is a wild thought but perhaps we should put on the table the option of 
scratching most of the language-specific localization stuff.  As I described in 
a separate thread, including certain local(s), if not done properly, can 
actually cause serious unintended negative impacts.  The highly esteemed 
Bonghwan Kim also pointed out that the daewoo Korean font included in the 
LiveCD looks dirty and should not be used.

Since the localization stuff takes up so much premium space, don't you think we 
should at least ask those responsible for the implementation of each locale to 
come out and explain why and how the decisions were made?  In a supposedly 
"community driven project" (an excellent means to escape responsibility), don't 
we think everything should be as transparent as possible?  Then there is also 
the issue of accountability.
