i doubt the excise will please many either. but the idea is not 'for
someone's pleasure' it is for all the causes mentioned in the previous mails.
also, i seem to feel that most people carry this unconsious, lurking, sense
of distaste towards taxation, which i can understand. but look from a bold
new fresh attitude, the taxation pill no matter how bitter, does a lot of
good for FLOSS. much more than just what mere technology can do. this is the
'rocket fuel' push that FLOSS needs to catapult it from its slow, agonizing,
15 year existence into the mainstream of consciousness.
