Hi Folks,
After installation of linux on our system, many of
us may have encountered the problem of permission denied error eg.
When someone logs in he may come across of such
kind of error of permission denial (Shell-Init).
Now, In my case if I am trying to run
the cat command to check the connectivity of my modem by issuing the command cat
> /dev/ttyS1 I am also encountered by the error
bash:/dev/ttyS1:permission denied.
All this need that our root directory
and all the directories up to our home directory must be readable and executable
by everybody. Is there anyone who can help me for how to fix this problem, I
shall be thankful to him.
Best Regards,
Malkiat
