Edit the file " /etc/fstab " and you might find a few lines written there
already

Just add the put down the line as

/dev/hdb1      /mnt/hdb1      VFAT       defaults,rw   0,0

be sure to create a  /mnt/hdb1 directory

im sure the entry for the floppy drive would be there already
so just stick the floppy in the drive and type at the command prompt

mount /dev/fd0  /mnt/floppy
and it should work fine
