hi

edit your /usr/fstab and put in the lines for /dev/hdb1 and mkdir the directory name you want it to mount as, in mnt. the hdb1 line is similar to the already existing floppy and cdrom mount commands. [this should work in most cases..] whats your exact problem in mounting floppies?? they mount automatically  in 7.1, so i assume they should in 7.2!

_____--------------------------

Hello everyone.

I'm running RHL 7.2 on a system with two HDs: 20 GB on hda with /boot
and /,
and a 40 GB on hdb with a 30 GB FAT 32 (hdb1).

How do I get hdb1 to mount on startup, no matter which user logs in?
And, could someone give me a reference on mounting floppy disks? My
3.5" FDD
seems to be on fd0.

Regards,

Aadisht
