Hi! Everybody
This discussion need an involvement of every one on the mail list....those who were there at the last LUG-dmeeting and those who are on the mail list.....really guys...we need to have everybodys participation on this topic....cuz...i support the idea where one on the people of the group demostrates a proprietry software which he / they have developed for the market......which we as the group get a special preview...coooool....also newbies users can interact or be "taken under their wings" by advanced users and teach or guide them about the various s/w and how to choose and decide which s/w to choose for the development of applications....it can be done in an informal or a formal way....we can have one part of the meeting dedicated to commercial aspect...every body wants to make "MONEY".....nobody wants to carry the guilt of using a pirated s/w...deep down every Win users know that...we can improve the interation with various users who use Linux/BSD but are not even on the! list...and by the way why r there so LESS GIRLS in the group:-) ... i got to say this linux/BSD acceptance only if the other half also gets involved...NO Talibanization....guys/...gals think and carefully about what Sudhir is saying...i dont want any split.....but then everybody should have the "freedom" as the freedom of Linux...after all there are companies, national and international, who are making money....I AM ALSO GOING TO MAKE MONEY.....this pool of experience and knowledge will just propel the whole momentum of OSS...and as for as free software group is concerned....all of the computer users are and would love to use free s/w....every body loves to get their hands on free software (food 4 thought) ....
