hi

to remove the "unwanted" linux partition you will need the CD using which you
installed linux. Boot from the CD, and continue the process till it comes to disk
partitioning. if you are using pcq7.1 then it'll give you the option to select between
'disk druid' and 'fdisk'. select disk druid and select the partition on which you
installed linux. select 'delete'. if there are more than one partition (i.e. linux
swap) etc. delete them also. restart the machine.

the other option is to select that partition, and edit it. in the filesystem dropdown
select 'win95/fat32' or something like that. that way you make your parition readable
by windows (if you are using windows). apply the changes and restart the machine.

correct me if i'm wrong!

P.S. - the ilugd moderator -> when i select reply to the email message, it shows the
sender's name and email (in this case 'swarandeepsingh
<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>' instead of [EMAIL PROTECTED] viewing the headers also
says 'Reply-To: "swarandeepsingh"<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>'. should it be this
way?
