Your only hope can be to recover files on your windows partition. If you had
your partition properly defragged, then you shud hav a good chance of
recovering most of your files. I wud recomend some kind of utility that will
allow you to copy files off your windows partition to another partition
while trying to do an undelete/unformat. This is definitely not going to get
your windows partition back in the former state, but u shud have most of
your files back. which were not in the root folder. Your root folders wud
typically get renamed to things like "dir0001","dir0002",....
