I think these would be good options (in decreasing order of desirability): 1. Reject all email from yaari, hi5, orkut domains (view the message headers, the email that triggered this discussion comes from yaariinvites.com). I do not know how mailman works, but it should be easy to add this domain to its spam filters (if it has any) or drop the email at the mail server. 2. It is possible, I think it is possible to contact these websites and add the ilugc mailing list address to a blacklist so that no requests are sent here even if requested. 3. Unsubscribe users as soon as one such email is found.
